Project: IT’S TIME
Morehouse College
Self-help educational and personal development project to induce African-American male K-12 students to assume greater responsibility for their own behavior and personal development, as well as for that of their younger peers.
Boys become a part of very small teams, each with a captain who receives points and is visibly rewarded for the good behavior of his team members (homework completed daily, perfect attendance, etc.), and who loses points for misbehavior of his team.

Project A.C.T. Early II: Advancing the Competency of Teachers for Early Behavioral Intervention of At-Risk Children
University of Georgia
Program seeks to better understand the ecological context of risk in elementary schools and help teachers acquire effective classroom strategies to intervene early in children’s school careers.
A three-year longitudinal study involving elementary-aged, at-risk children (due to poor behavioral adaptation to the classroom) and their teachers. Involves about 60 teachers and 1,200 K-5 at-risk students from four Clarke County public schools.
