Partnering with K-12 education in the Atlanta region
While teacher preparation lies at the heart of the relationship between higher education and public schools, colleges and universities offer a variety of outreach programs and services that help advance academic achievement among Georgia public school students. This directory describes over 280 such programs and services provided by Atlanta-area colleges and universities. It is a tool intended to facilitate further cooperation between educators at all levels.
Information found in this directory is based on a survey conducted by the Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education (ARCHE) of its 21 member colleges and universities, a listing of which is found on the back cover. While these institutions have their main campuses in the Atlanta region, the scope of their activities encompasses the State of Georgia.
