Mercer University’s 300-acre Atlanta campus, just inside the northeast Perimeter, is a vital and growing part of Mercer, which has been part of Atlanta’s academic community since 1960. Mercer was founded in 1833 in Macon and also has academic degree centers in Savannah, Henry County, Douglas County and Eastman.

At the Atlanta campus, degree programs focus on graduate and professional studies through the College of Pharmacy and Health Studies, Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, McAfee School of Theology, Stetson School of Business and Economics, Tift College of Education and the College of Continuing and Professional Studies. Bachelor’s degrees in education (early care adn education), nursing, business, organization leadership and criminal justice are also available, as are doctoral programs in pharmaceutical sciences, educational leadership, nursing and ministry. Mercer’s School of Medicine offers a master’s degree in family therapy at Piedmont Hospital.
